TAGGED!

Okay, so I was tagged twice to do this so I guess I better do it. The rules are as follows:
Here are the rules.....
1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages).
2. Turn to page 123.
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog
5. Tag 5 people

The nearest book that I had handy was George Washington and Religion. I am not a deep reader usually, but I have to read this for a class and it was sitting there. The sentence reads as follows:

"Differences of opinion, Jefferson always insisted, "like difference of face, are a law of nature, and should be viewed with the same tolerance."

It really is a very intersting book and has given me a new perspective about George Washington and has helped me to realize that he, like me, is human! Isn't it amazing when you realize that your heros or idols are human and have faults just like you?!

Ne ways... I tag...Gina, Rachel, Amy, Ashley, and Kendy.

STUCK!!!

I just had the most embarrassing thing happen to me this morning! It was one of those things that would happen to me and no one else! I thought that I would be a good wife and take Anthony to work this morning because his car was already there. Ne ways... after we drop him off I thought I could pull around behind the first aisle of cars. The thin layer of ice over the whole gravel parking lot should have been my first clue! But I went ahead and about 100 feet into the lot, I sunk up to my hub cabs in water!!! I was completely stuck! I couldn't go back or forward! I called Anthony with our cell phone and he came and stated the obvious, "You're stuck and not going anywhere!" Someone in a truck came into work and pulled us out! I was completely embarrassed! It was like the classic woman driver getting stuck scenario! Oh well! I'm sure that will laugh about it later! It was just so embarrassing!

Its OURS! All OURS!!!!

On the 20th of February, we signed the papers for our house! I can't tell you what it felt like it! It was awesome! You feel like you are signing away your life but you don't care! Kind of like labor when you have to sign for the epidural! We are so excited! We got the keys on Thursday and had our first official dinner that night. It was Article Circle burgers but hey... it was great! Andrew spilled water and Peter dumped fry sauce...luckily only on a the blanket! Saturday we moved! That was insane! I never, never, never, and I will repeat, NEVER want to move again. It was horrible and kind of ruined the whole experience for me. We almost packed everything Friday day and night and then moved everything Saturday and cleaned and checked out of our apartment that day as well. We then began the process of unpacking! That has taken forever and I think that it might just be July before we are done. But overall, we are happy and excited to be in our home! Peter and Andrew love all the extra room to play and its been really nice to be able to see the sun and the outdoors. I kind of missed that in our basement apartment! Now that I am semi-unpacked, I really like our house! I enjoy all the room and the realization that its ours, all ours!

We were also sad to leave our old ward, the BYU-I 76th! We love that ward and will miss everyone! It will seem really weird to go to a different ward after being in the 76th for so long. Fare thee well and keep in touch!

Back from the Dead!

And we are back! Sorry about the delay in posting for those you check our blog! School, kids, and other activities have kept us pretty busy these last two weeks. Valentine's Day was awesome! Anthony and I had dinner at the Railroad Inn (aka Anthony's parents home.) All the girls got together before the dinner and primped and curled and chatted. It was a lot of fun to be with just all the girls. We then had a yummy dinner by candlelight and then played a version of Family Freud that I found on Ideadoor. com. (I love that website!) My brother, James, came up from Firth, which we really appreciated! It was really fun to get out and to be together with Anth's family!

The Second Adventure began Saturday morning. While Anthony was at work trying to catch up on hours, I, absentmindedly, step on the side of our garbage sack that was sitting on the floor. So what? you may say? Well, by stepping on the side of the bag I stepped on a chicken can lid and slice my toe wide open. At first I thought I had just stumped it or something. It didn't really hurt. But then I looked down and saw that it was bleeding. I still didn't think that it was that bad, until I finally sat down on the floor and looked at it. It was bleeding all over the place and I could tell that it was pretty bad. I called Anthony and he said that he would come home in a little bit and then we would decide if I need stitches! I called my friend, Sinead, and she came over and administered first aid since I couldn't really do it and I didn't have the stuff and I was desperately trying to stay calm for my two dumbfounded little boys, who were trying to understand what was going on. Anyways... Anth finally came and we decided to run to Community Care and see about some stitches. Sinead watched the boys and we were off. After waiting for about 30 minutes, it was determined that I could just be glued together, but I still had to get a tetanus shot! That hurt worst then everything! Ne ways... so I now will have a scar on the my second toe on my left foot! It has healed nicely and all the glue is gone now.

Adventure three was on Monday, when we got to go sledding with the boys. Anthony was off because of President's Day and we had so much fun. Since we couldn't find a sled to buy anywhere in Rexburg, we decided to rent some from the BYU-I ORC(Outdoor Recreation Center.) We then headed to Smith Park! Anth and I had a blast! The boys not so much! The first time we went down, Peter said, "I'm done! I want to go home now!" They finally warmed up to it and were really loving it!

I think that I will end this post and start a new one for the next adventure since its a pretty big one but you will know about it before you know about this because of the way that things are posted on here!

The Eagle Has Landed!

My (that is Alisha's) brother was made an eagle scout yesterday! He is the last of my brothers to earn his! We are all so proud of him! Way to go, Glen! My mom is so relieved that she is finally done with scouting! She only laughs and tells me that she is sorry that I am just beginning! Oh well...maybe scouting will have changed by the time I have to worry about that. With my luck, they will make it even more complicated!

Mommy, my belly button hurts!

So, this has been our life for this last week! Peter caught the flu and first started throwing up on Wednesday. I was really glad that Anthony was home to help me clean it up. The worse of it was that we were just heading out the door to sign the loan application for our house when he erupted. I was holding Peter and trying to help him get ready and so I got a little bit of it on me. I feel that I can now truly say that I'm a mom. I have had ever bodily fluid on me that I know of! If that doesn't make you a mom, I don't know what does! Ne ways... so Peter throw up Wednesday and then ran a fever for two days and did't do anything but sleep. It should have been a good chance for me to do all my homework, but I really didn't get anything done. Oh well!
