Busy!

So, we have had a pretty busy couple of weeks. My Grandpa died last Saturday and the funeral was last Tuesday. My mom, knowing that I need to feel busy and needed during a time like this (its how my dad and I both cope with stress, we go into turbo mode and begin to organize), gave me the assignment of doing an arrangement from all the grandkids. I was a little flustered about this because I have never ordered or none one! My mom suggested asking my very talented mother-in-law to help me. So I recruited my mother-in-law, and WOW! She did awesome! She took me to Porters where we got flowers and then to a craft store that had the fishing stuff that I wanted to put in it. All my relatives were so impressed that they were fighting over who got to keep the arrangement. My Grandma won out, but there are already debs about how gets when she dies! It was that good! So thanks, Diane! You are AMAZING!

I took some pictures when we were at the burial that I thought turned out pretty good. My way of saying goodbye. My dad is the only really active member in his family and so it was hard to watch all my cousins and relatives having such a hard time. It made me so thankful to know the truth that there is life after death and I will see my grandpa again. What peace the gospel brings!

I have also been busy catching up with my calling. Our Primary Presidency decided to do birthday spotlights this year. So whenever its some one's birthday we tell a little about them. Simple, right? It has been a little bit of struggle to get 87 birthday spotlights! But the kids really like it and it has been worth it! That and I was an overachiever in that I decided to get the whole year done by the end of January! Ne ways... we are also doing new Baptism gifts. We decided to take a picture of the temple and then transpose the child's picture on it as well. The first baptism is Saturday and this is how they turned out! What do you think? (And NO, Andrew is not getting baptized. I don't have the picture of the boy yet so I figured that this would work for now.)

Ne ways... I want to try harder to blog more. Call it my resolution for the year. I also want to make more comments on my friends blog,so watch out!

Let Your Voice Be Heard

We are opening up a poll to see what you think we are having. So look at the side and let us know your thoughts! Some FYI or inside information. We have two boys right now and Anthony's mom had FOUR boys before she had a girl. I am feeling that this pregnany is different but I don't know if that's just me. I hate meat and but I was craving manderin chicken from Fongs. I love oranges and anything fruity. I seem to be carrying the same that I have always have. Good luck and we will know the answer on February 9th at 11:30!

Christmas 2008

We spent Christmas in Firth this year. We have done that for the past five years because I always had a brother on a mission. This will be the last year that we do the whole pack up Christmas thing! We have enjoyed it but we are ready to start having our own Christmas. Ne ways... we had a fun Christmas. Peter was so excited for Christmas this year. We arrived at my family's the Tuesday before Christmas. On Christmas eve we made cookies for Santa and planned games and watch Santa fly all over the world using Google Earth. We could see where Santa was at! The boys loved! Peter didn't fall asleep until almost 11:00! I'm so glad that Santa had assembled his toys early so that we didn't have to do it that. Peter and Andrew got bikes from Santa and some little snow shovels! They had such a great time! We talked to my brother, Shaun, who is serving in Virginia. It was great to hear his accent and to talk to him! He gets home next October and I can't wait to see him and show him how big the boys really are and his newest nephew or niece. Peter is already counting down the days until next Christmas. Its great to see the Christmas spirit staying alive.

Sorry about no pictures. My SD card won't open and my external hard drive doesn't seem to be working either. Sorry!
