The Eagle Has Landed!
Mommy, my belly button hurts!
So, this has been our life for this last week! Peter caught the flu and first started throwing up on Wednesday. I was really glad that Anthony was home to help me clean it up. The worse of it was that we were just heading out the door to sign the loan application for our house when he erupted. I was holding Peter and trying to help him get ready and so I got a little bit of it on me. I feel that I can now truly say that I'm a mom. I have had ever bodily fluid on me that I know of! If that doesn't make you a mom, I don't know what does! Ne ways... so Peter throw up Wednesday and then ran a fever for two days and did't do anything but sleep. It should have been a good chance for me to do all my homework, but I really didn't get anything done. Oh well!Friday, February 08, 2008

Bundled Up!
Our Future Home
This is it! If all goes well with our loan application, which the mortage company highly assures us that it should, this will be our new home! It has five bedrooms and two bathrooms. As you can see it is a split level and has a upstairs (something that I have always wanted in a house) and a downstairs (something that Anthony wanted in a house). Some of the bedrooms aren't very big but we love it! It so light and bright inside. I didn't realize how dark and dreary our basement apartment really is until we began to look at houses! It also come with all the applicances, which will save us a lot of money in the end. It has a two car garage and a great backyard! We are really excited! The whole bidding and counterbidding thing was awful and I hope to never go through that again! I could stay here for a long time. The house has been on the market since this summer, hence the absence of snow. Right now, there are four foot drifts in the front and in the back and a five foot wall of snow blocking the driveway!Birthday-the Big 24
I know of alot of you are probably thinking, "24? That's not big! Just wait!" I know, I know! But I do feel a little old, especially next to some of the sisters in my college ward! My birthday was last Friday, the first, and I want to say thank you to all those that wished me a happy birthday. It started out, should we say interesting, and got progressively better. Anthony threw together a party with some of our friends and it was a lot of fun. The pictures are of me opening my presents that Anth and the boys got me. I got a new backpack, (prefect way of saying so long to college life) a new scarf and glove set, a Payday (my favorite candybar, okay so its only one of my favorite candbars. What can I say? I love chocolate) and Are you smarter than a fifth grader board game. The next picture is of the boys licking the cake batter from after I made the cake. That's right, I baked my own cake and I'm really okay with it. At least this way I got to get what I really wanted. I tried a new recipe and it was a smash! One of my first memories is licking cake batter after my grandma made a cake and I want my boys to be able to have the same kind of memories!
