Yummy! Let's eat!

Andrew and Peter loved the appretizer I gave them: a celery stick with some zingy Ranch dip! They just licked it right up while the rest of us were more cautious. Peter was so excited to eat turkey! It was all he talked about for days. His favorite was probably the olives and jello that I gave him! Isn't that every kids fave? Thanksgiving at Grandma Monson's house was a lot of fun and we had so much food left over that we are still eating three days later! Anyone want some turkey or pie?

I want a ....

It won't be Thanksgiving without looking at the ads and deciding if the item is worth the fighting off thousands of people for the same item! Anthony and I lucked out this year and were able to have other people pick up our items for us. We were pretty lucky!

Thanksgiving Football Game

This Thanksgiving we started a new tradition of playing a "friendly" game of football before we eat. It was a lot of fun! Everyone was allowed to play and Peter had a blast running around and "tackling" his dad and Grandpa. He even got to score a touchdown, mostly because no one was allowed to touch him so we would give him the ball to let him run it in! Needless to say, Peter's team won the game! It was a fun tradition and one that we hope will continue. For those, that aren't family, the top left picture is my mom Cherisse, my brother James, my sister Rachal, and of course Peter tackling the football. The top right is the huddle with Anthony being on the left with the gray stocking cap, James on the right, and a close family friend (my second dad) DeRay in the back. The botttom is DeRay running with a pass.

YUCK! What is this thing?

So, we had stir fry for dinner the other day and this was Andrew's expression when he bit into one of the carrots. He didn't find it very appealing and commenced to spit it out and to dump his tray on the ground! His way of saying, "I can't believe that you expect me to eat that!"

Goodby AOL CDs

We are de-junking so I decided to get rid of my AOL CD collection. I let Peter and Andrew play with them for a while before throwing the CDs away.

I can fly!

It's true! Our boys really did come from heaven and here's the pictures to prove it! This last week has been busy as Anth and I have been trying to wrap up our classes for our Thanksgiving break that begins next Monday! We get a whole week off! YEAH! But its really not a week off because I have to do a paper and Anthony has to work and do his homework as well! Oh well! We only have 18 more weeks left of school till we graduate! (That is only counting the days that we actually got to school!) I'm really pumped to be graduating! I can't even inagine what life will be like when homework isn't looming over us. We like to think that every day will be just like summer vacation! No homework and all we have to do is be a family and for Anthony to go to work. It will awesome but scary at the same time!

Clutter Cops to the Rescue

We will, we will, declutter you!

Okay, okay! I know that was cheesy but well ...that's all that I could come up with in the minute! Anthony and I were clutter cops for our date night on Friday. Anthony's brother, Rob, is moving into a new house and needed help cleaning and boxing up their stuff. We decided that we would do a service project and go and help out.. I made badges that we could wear and after dropping off our boys with Aunt Val, we went over to the victim's home. We had a lot of fun and Rob and his wife Susan had surprised us with a romantic spaghetti dinner. It was a lot of fun and gave us an appreciation for the little amount of stuff we actually own!

Don't always listen to your mom!

I told Peter that he was bouncing off the walls and the next thing I knew he was! Moral of the story: be careful what you tell your kids to do.... they just might do it!
