Fourth of July

I will start with the Fourth of July and slowly work my way through the rest of the month. We spent the Fourth with Anthony's family since mine was camping. We were brave and invited all of Anthony's family to join us for a hamburger and hot dogs and fireworks later. It was a lot of fun and went a lot better then I thought it would. We had tons of fun and got to eat homemade banana ice cream and to celebrate Anthony's brother's birthday and also his ENGAGEMENT! That's right! Douglas is engaged and they hope to be able to set a date soon! Here are a few pics! Enjoy!

Douglas and his new fiance, Christy! They are such a cute couple and we are way excited for them!
Douglas cutting the cake! His mom made a cake that looked like a pizza! It was so authentic looking! She is so amazing!
Some of the nieces and nephews playing in our "sand box." Its more like a sand area where nothing but weeds grows! The boys love it though!
Andrew with a sparkler! He loved them! It was so fun to watch the boys with the fireworks!

And Yes! We still have our dog! Anthony did discover that he was not a dog person and so we are just currently fostering him until the Adoption Center can find him a new home. We have gotten use to him but it was pretty life changing there for a while. The boys and I have become pretty attached to him and he seems like a part of the family. It's going to be hard to give him up!

YEA!!! WELCOME BACK!!! Your sandbox looks like so much fun. Might have to bring the kids by when I visit in a couple of weeks so they can enjoy it. It is too hot to go out here in July and August so we have been stuck indoors.

Yea!!! Glad to see you didn't drop off the face of the earth. Looks like the family is doing well. Wish we had the weather to go outdoors and play. It either is raining cats and dogs or snowing. BLAH! But I do what I can with the girls during the day so they are not climbing the walls, because I'm sure I would be climbing the walls right along with them. You will have to visit our blog and find out what we have been up to lately. Miss ya!
